Anchor Damage

As a dive shop, our top priority always seems to be to get people into the water and bring them back happy and safe. But, as a reef ecologist, and really just as any aquatic life enthusiast, there’s also a greater responsibility we don’t always think about. We need to protect the ecosystems that support not only the dive industry, but all maritime industries, and of course, an incredible amount of fish, invertebrate, plant, and microbial life.

Sea of Cortez – Spotlight on Nudibranchs

As new divers, we all want to see the big stuff : turtles, sharks, eels, and rays are the stars of the underwater world for a reason! But, as most of us progress, we start to notice and take an interest in the smaller and harder to spot ocean life. This passion for the small fish lifes is usually just referred to as macro.

Cayman's Islands are a long time favorite in the Caribbean sea!

I experienced it last week and i will give you my video report to give you an idea of to what to expect if you plan to go for a diving liveaboard with the newly and beautiful Cayman's Island Aggressor.

Nosy Be - This island located on the northwest coast of Madagascar, it is a small paradise for scuba diving. Water at 28 °C, generally with good visibility. The best time to dive there is in the morning, because it will gets wind up early in the afternoon.

Around Nosy Be you can find many dive sites, you can reach there by speed boat on average between 20 to 60 minutes from the mianland.

Manta Rays- the elegant species of the seas

The underwater world is host to hundreds of thousands of different species of life, but without a doubt the most elegant creature to grace our oceans is the Manta Ray. Manta being Portuguese for cloak, these dark winged creatures can be somewhat intimidating with their impressive wingspan effortlessly patrolling the seas.

For many divers the Caribbean Sea is a dream destination, boasting beautiful clear waters, white sandy beaches and an array of different cuisine depending on where you travel. Some of the most renowned diving happens around “The Bay Islands” just off Honduras in Central America, they consist of three principle islands, Utila, Roatan and Guanaja.

Cocos Island - Divers' Paradise

Cocos island (also called Isla del Coco in the native tongue of Costa Rica), is located in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 550 km from the Pacific shore of Costa Rica. It is an island declared as a Costa Rican National Park off the shore of Costa Rica since 1978. Surrounded by deep waters with counter-currents, Cocos Island is admired by scuba divers for its populations of hammerhead sharks, rays, dolphins and other large marine species which are very abundant in this unique meeting point between deep and shallow waters.

In January 2017, we went onboard with two connected tirps to Similan islands with Issara Liveaboard. Both trip were amazing, with wonderful people from China, France, Thailand, really enjoyble vibes!
