Boat
Aqua Tiki III was built in La Rochelle, measures 20 meters long by 9.8 meters wide. The comfort on board is worthy of a hotel : a vast square very comfortable, with video corner, lounge library and cocktail bar. An American kitchen, a vast cockpit sheltered from the sun by a canopy where are served meals, a large sundeck, a front salon and 2 trampolines generally very coveted, a plancha for the grills.
The propulsion is ensured by 230 m2 of sail and by 2 motors of 150 HP. For maximum safety, this ship is equipped with the most complete modern navigation equipment and the latest technical evolutions: autopilot, GPS, BLU, VHF, computer navigation center, radar, standard C weather, beacon Of distress Sarsat.
Aqua Tiki III equipped with all comforts : a hi-fi system with independent sound system in each cabin and CD-library, television and video recorder, DVD with video library … A library where you will find among other documentation concerning the underwater fauna, Polynesia, Navigation, etc. There are many games to animate your evenings, as well as a telephone, a wirless internet spot and a fax by satellite make it possible to stay contactable in all circumstances and even on the other side of the world!
The meals consist mainly of fresh fish, real local wealth, and rice; In fact, the bunkering in the Tuamotu is very limited, especially with regard to fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables. Moreover, a cocktail bar is at your disposal from the end of the afternoon.

Aqua Tiki III has 5 spacious guest cabins, it can accommodate up to 10 guests :

1 Standard Bunk Cabin :
Air-conditioned, with two single beds in bunk style.

Diving
Usually up to 2 dives a day can be offered
No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
For regular trip divers need to be AOW with 50 dives min.

All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

FAKARAVA 11D/10N OF DREAM AT TUAMOTU
Route : Fakarava – Tetamanu – Kauehi – Toau – Fakarava
This itinerary offers challenging dives that will satisfy the most adventurous divers. Diving in the passes is extraordinary, which is why we require a certain level of scuba-diving certification. Look out for: sharks, mantas, dolphins, tunas, jacks, barracudas...
The minimum water temperature varies between 25°C (77°F) in winter (September) and 29°C (84°F) in summer (march), with no thermocline and an outstanding visibility year-round.
1st day : Arrival at the airport of Fakarava, welcome by the crew of the AQUA TIKI, then transfer onto the boat. Settling into your private cabin, tour of the village, water sports, swimming. Sunset with a cocktail, presentation of the trip, welcome party.
2nd day : Early-morning departure for Fakarava’s southern end, smooth sail through the lagoon, troll fishing. Anchorage off the Tetamanu village. Water sports or scuba-dive. Lunch. Land excursion, shell collecting, tour of the ancient village of Tetamanu and its church, scuba-dive or water sport of your choice, kayak. Option of a Polynesian party on land.
3rd day : Morning rise in Fakarava’s stunning lagoon, scuba-dive or water sports, then excursion to the untamed beauty of the “pink sand motu”, beach, swim. Lunch, scuba-dive or water sport of your choice. Sunset on the lagoon. Evening departure towards Tahanea.
4th day : Early anchorage off of a stunning, wild motu in Tahanea, scuba-dive or water sports, kayak, land excursion on a beautiful, deserted beach… Swims, shell collecting, lunch. Tour of the island in the RIB, scuba-dive, then trip back to the boat for a BBQ evening.
5th day : Morning rise in Tahanea’s heavenly lagoon, early-morning scuba-dive looking for manta rays, water sport of your choice. Lunch, swim in crystal clear waters, scuba-dive, then departure for Kauehi, big-game fishing, sunset at sea.
6th day : Anchorage on the coral reef, scuba-dive or water sports. Lunch. Scuba-dive or water sports, kayak, troll fishing in the Kauehi pass, with the sun setting down. BBQ evening.
7th day : Water sports of your choice, swim, scuba-dive. Lunch, option of a land excursion, exploration of the reef to look for shells, water sport or scuba-dive, dinner.
8th day : Early morning departure for Toau, sunrise at sea, smooth sailing helped by the trade winds, breakfast, big-game fishing. Anchorage off of a stunning coral sand beach, water sports or scuba-dive. Lunch, option to visit a pearl farm, water sports or scuba-dive. Sunset on the lagoon, BBQ evening.
9th day : Sunrise on the spectacular Toau lagoon, water sports, scuba-dive. Land excursion to look for shells, swim, coconut tasting (you will learn how to extract the coconut milk that is so prevalent in Polynesian cooking). Lunch. Water sports of your choice or scuba-dive. Sunset on the lagoon, dinner.
10th day : Early morning departure for the northern end of Fakarava. Short sail and anchorage off the coral reef. Snorkeling or scuba-dive in the famous Garuae pass (over half a mile wide!). Lunch, scuba-dive, then a smooth sail to the village of Rotoava. Last sunset with a cocktail, farewell party.
11th day : Village tour, water sports and last swims, then back to shore and transfer to the airport.

Informations pratiques
Polynésie française
Période: les croisières sont possible toute l'année, avec la haute saison pendant l'été local de novembre à mars.
Les visas: les ressortissants de l'Union européenne n'ont pas besoin de visa. Les ressortissants d'autres pays recevront un visa de 90 jours à l'arrivée. Certains pays doivent appliquera un visa auprès du consulat Français. Pour plus d'informations, veuillez contacter l'ambassade Français ou le consulat le plus proche de chez vous.
Climat: le climat en Polynésie Français est tropical et humide, la pluie est commune tout au long de l'année, mais plus fréquentent de janvier à mars. Il y a très peu d'écart de température tout au long de l'année et les conditions météorologiques sont assez stables.
Eau: les températures de l'eau varient peu tout au long de l'année, entre 26°/29° avec une visibilité presque illimitée.
Vêtements: vêtements légers toute l'année avec une veste ou coupe-vent et éventuellement un K-Way.
Fiches: Type A, B et E en 220 v, 60 Hz
Vols: les vols internationaux arrivent quotidiennement et directement à l'aéroport International de FAA à Tahiti. Il existe de nombreux vols intérieurs d'ici pour tout le pays ainsi que pour les îles avec la compagnie nationale, Air Tahiti.
Devises: la monnaie locale est le Comptoirs Français du Pacifique (franc CFP). Il est conseillé d'apporter des liquidités avec vous et échanger à l'un des bureaux de changes des banques nationales, les cartes de crédit sont acceptés comme moyen de paiement presque partout.
