De retour de la Mer de Cortez sur le Valentina. Le Bateau très sympa, un peu vieux, mais équipage est très sympa, nourriture très bonne, bateau assez pratique dans l'ensemble. Tous les plongées se font depuis les Zodiacs

Le séjour s'est bien passé, bonne météo, soleil, pas de pluie. Les plongées sont sympa, des requins assez souvent, quelques raie aigles (que j ai toute loupées:), mais visi moyenne, et eau a 29C, et le coraux n'ont pas aime du tout, pas mal de blanchiment. Le blue hole, c'est sympa, mais pas forcément impressionnant , je préfères celui des Bahamas où il y a plus de vie.

Concernant le bateau, sympa, pas tout jeune, mais ils ont refait un peu de peinture, repas et équipe excellent, comme toujours.

Un petit retour suite a ma croisière sur le Roatan aggressor.

Le bateau, tres sympa, classique chez aggressor, service toujours au top, cuisine toujours tres bonne (du coup regime cette semaine :) ) Météo plutôt bonne pour février, 28C tout le temps, pas de pluie, mais du vent, ce qui ne nous a pas trop perturbe, eau a 26-27C, visibilité tres bonne.

Un petit retour de Palau. Apres un long ( très long ! ) trajet pour rejoindre l archipel, les paysages sont magnifiques digne de cartes postales, météo plutôt bonne, quelques averses par-ci par-la, 30C la journée, 28C le soir :)

Eau chaude, trop, 30C, voir 31C sur certain sites, et ca se voit au niveau des coraux, je n ai jamais vu autant de corail blanchi ( j ai vu a plusieurs reprises des tables de corails de 2m de diamètre entièrement blanchi ...) L ensemble du récif reste tout de meme en bonne santé.

Thursday:
Seal Dog Rock, Bronco Billy, POS, Coral Gardens, Kodiac Queen.

Friday:
Aquarium, Wall 2 Wall, Deathly Towers.

Dive Conditions:
Currents: Currents at Wolf and Darwin Island. Moderate Currents at Isabela Island.
Visibility: good 50 - 60ft. at Darwin Island and at Wolf.
Visibility at Fernandina very good 65 – 70ft. Isabela also very good 70 - 80ft. Very good at Cousins 60 - 70ft. No currents.
Water Temperature: Up in the north at Darwin and Wolf Island now 24C (74F). In the west Part of the Islands fresher, about 14C (57F)

I know it's been a while since most of us have been unlucky enough to make these underwater bubbles because of the global COVID-19 situation. I know your pain, well, C'est la vie, I guess.

If we don't get a chance to dive, we can at least dream of the dives we've made, and of course of the ocean itself! There's something magical about the sea that allows me to immediately inundate myself with a sense of tranquility, even when I think about it.

No dive trip in the Sea of Cortez is complete without a visit to one of its many sea lion rookeries.
