Le Sea Star est un yacht de trois mats et cinq voiles qui mesure 40 mètres de long. Il a été construit et optimisé pour le confort, la sécurité et la stabilité. A la fin de sa construction en 2002, il a rejoint la flotte de croisière des Seychelles. Avec un ratio d'un membre d'équipage pour 2 personnes, la satisfaction des plongeurs est une priorité. Il possède un double moteur Diesel et peut atteindre une vitesse de croisière de 9 nœuds. L'électricité fournie à bord est en 220V.

Le Sea Star peut accueillir jusqu'à 16 plongeurs dans le confort et l'intimité.

Le pont principal possède un magnifique salon / bar climatisé avec TV, lecteur DVD, chaîne stéréo et un assortiment de films, CD et livres. L'immense salle à manger se situe à l'avant du bateau et offre une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer.

Le pont supérieur est ombragé et équipé de canapés et tables. Pour ceux qui souhaitent profiter du soleil, des matelas sont disponibles dans la partie découverte.

L'arrière du pont de plongée est équipé d'une échelle de sortie et d'une douche d'eau douce.

Cabines

Le Sea Star compte 9 cabines confortables sur le pont inférieur.

Toutes les cabines ont une salle de bain privée avec douche et la climatisation.

November to April 8D/7N

DAY 1 : Embarkation at the Inter-Island Quay at 1030hrs, followed by the Captain's welcome briefing. Depart Port Victoria at 1200hrs, sailing from Mahé to a late afternoon anchorage at Round Island, just off the isle of Praslin. In the evening, introduce yourself to Creole cuisine with a welcome barbecue dinner onboard.

DAY 2 : Disembark on Praslin, Seychelles' second-largest inhabited island, for a visit to the famous World Heritage Site, the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve. Explore the valley's eerie pathways beneath its canopy of massive palms, before returning onboard for afternoon opportunities to dive, snorkel or enjoy other water sports.

DAY 3 :A morning sail brings the vessel to La Digue, a sleepy island community where ox-carts and bicycles still remain the most common mode of transportation throughout the island. Explore the entire island by bicycle, perhaps stopping by Union Estate, a sprawling network of traditional island activities, including a copra mill, vanilla plantation, and shipyard.

DAY 4 : In the morning the vessel sails toward Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur (the Sisters) for excellent snorkeling and diving, and for a relaxing visit of these unique and completely uninhabited tropical islands. In the afternoon, visit Coco Island, one of Seychelles’ tiny granite jewels, a fantastic spot for snorkeling within a kaleidoscope of tropical fish.

DAY 5 : Sail to Booby Island for a morning of diving and water sports. After lunch, sail to Aride Island, a globally important nature reserve with more native bird species than any other island, including five endemics and the world's largest population of 3 species (Lesser Noddy, Audubon's Shearwater and Seychelles Warbler) to walk along a spectacular nature trail.

DAY 6 : In the morning disembark at Curieuse for a visit of this virtually uninhabited island. Experience the island's vast mangrove forests and its giant tortoise farm, along with the historic ruins of this former leper colony. After a barbecue lunch on the island, enjoy an array of water sports or simply relax and enjoy the island's beautiful beach and turquoise waters.

DAY 7 : After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely sail back towards Mahé, with a last stop at Ile Seche for more snorkeling or diving, followed by a farewell barbecue. The vessel overnights in the Ste Anne Marine Park.

DAY 8 : After an early breakfast, disembarkation is at 08.30 at the Inter Island Quay, Victoria, Mahe.

May to October 8D/7N

DAY 2 : Sail to the beautiful Baie Ternay Marine Park and Nature Reserve on the western coast of Mahé, where calm, crystal clear waters provide for excellent snorkeling and diving during the day. An afternoon sail back to Beau Vallon Bay positions the vessel in one of the island's best places to watch the countless shades of pink and orange of a Seychelles sunset.

DAY 6 : In the morning, sail back towards Praslin for a visit to the tiny, picturesque granite outcrop of St. Pierre, an excellent site for snorkeling and diving, with the nooks and crannies of its granite boulders teeming with marine life. In the afternoon sail to Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in Praslin, and arguably, all of Seychelles – a perfect place for swimming, snorkeling and other water sports.

DAY 7 : Sail towards Cousin Island off the coast of Praslin, for a morning visit of this strictly protected nature reserve, famed for its sea bird colonies and also as a sanctuary for Seychelles' rare endemic land birds and other native species. In the afternoon the vessel begins its sail towards Mahé, anchoring overnight in the Ste Anne Marine National Park with its cluster of lush granite islands.

DAY 8 : After an early breakfast, disembarkation is at 08.30am at the Inter Island Quay, Victoria, Mahe.
